The Adelaide Showground Farmers’ Market is the largest farmers’ market in South Australia. Established in October 2006, the not-for-profit organisation supports small family farms, agricultural diversity and fresh, regional and seasonal choices for consumers. The Farmers' Market attracts up to 5,000 locals and tourists every Sunday. It is a vibrant place where farmers and producers representing every region of the state bring seasonal produce sell direct to the public in inner-city Adelaide. The Market inspires consumers to consider where their food comes from and how it is produced. Producers also maximise their profit margins by selling direct to the public and receive instant feedback from customers about product quality and preferences. General Information: Parking Free parking is available in the streets nearby the Showground. Car parking is also available in the Showground through the Leader Street entrance for $3. Alternatively, Market members can purchase an annual car parking card for $47.50. Dogs at the Market Adelaide Showground Farmers' Market has investigated the presence of dogs at the Market from a food standards perspective, health and safety and liability issue. At present, no animals are allowed at the Farmers' Market or on the Adelaide Showground. Smoking The Market is a smoke-free area. ATMs Some stallholders have eftpos facilities. Alternatively, you can withdraw up to $50 from the Information Stand (please note, there is limited funds available each Sunday). Toilets Public toilets can be found behind the Market Pavilion on the eastern end.Baby changeing facilities can be found within the ladies toilets. The Market is open Sundays from 9am to 1pm
