(UPDATED) Due to the massive demand experienced during the current ticket pre-sale, 5 SECONDS OF SUMMER have added a second Sydney show to their Sounds Live Feels Live Tour.The boys will now play two shows in their hometown, at the Hordern Pavilion on Tuesday October 4 and a second show on Wednesday October 5.---------- end of update ----------The biggest breakthrough band of 2014, 5 SECONDS OF SUMMER, last night at the 2015 ARIA Awards announced they will return to Australia for a run of east coast dates in September - October 2016, presented by Qantas. The band, who will tour the world in 2016, will close off their global run of dates with three very special shows for their Australian fans in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane. The dates follow the overwhelming demand for the 2015 ‘Rock Out With Your Socks Out’ tour that took the band all over the world performing for more than a million fans across three continents and saw 5SOS take home the 2015 ARIA Award for Best Australian Live Act. In 2016, they will play shows in iconic venues such as NYC's Madison Square Garden, London’s The O2 and LA’s The Forum, before returning to Australia for three very special homecoming shows. The announcement follows the October release of the band’s latest studio album ‘Sounds Good, Feels Good’. The album is packed with adrenaline-fuelled pop-rock hits that give a nod to their super-rock turn-of-the-millennium US alt-rock influences. The album is the follow-up to their self-titled debut album, which sold in excess of three million copies worldwide making it the biggest US debut album of the year. Tickets for ‘Sounds Live Feels Live’ Tour go on sale at 9am Wednesday, December 9.
