The Jungle Giants 'Every Kind Of Way' Australian Tour 2015 @ Uni Bar

Description:

Having recently unveiled ‘Every Kind Of Way’ - the first taste from their as-yet-untitled second album - The Jungle Giants are delighted to now reveal the song’s film clip and announce their Every Kind Of Way Tour dates.

Directed by Brisbane film-maker Michaela Holmes (Orphans Orphans, Morning Harvey) the clip provides a surreal version of the age-old quandary of boy-meets-girl. “It’s an energy you feel when you first meet someone,” explains Holmes. “You both really like each other and you want to show that, but it’s all still a bit new and awkward.”

Shot at Holmes’ Brisbane home, the clip compliments the rhythmic nature of the song which showcases The Jungle Giants’ distinctive melodies and cheeky sense of humour. Like the song, the clip culminates in a sexy breakdown that completes this raunchy, caterwauling romp of a song.

The Jungle Giants will take to the road this May in support of their new single, performing a series of shows that will see the band perform old favourites as well as teaser tunes from their forthcoming new album, due out this August. The tour dates follow on from a string of international tour dates which will see The Jungle Giants perform shows during late April in Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines and Singapore.

Recorded in a makeshift studio inside an old Queenslander in rural South East Queensland, The Jungle Giants were thrilled to once again have their much-loved producer Magoo behind the sound desk for the recording of their second album. “It was a no brainer to go with him again,” explains The Jungle Giants front man, Sam Hales. “He's like a family member. We're all so comfortable with him that we don't feel like there's any wall between us creatively. We usually like the same things, he's super-patient, and he’s willing to get weird.”
