An exhibition of artwork from Indigenous inmates within Victoria's correctional facilities. Now in its fourth year Confined, is the premier visual arts exhibition featuring contemporary works by Indigenous artists in custody in Victoria. The Confined exhibitions have emerged as an important feature on Victoria’s visual arts landscape. The artists hale from many different regions across Australia, and their cultural diversity is represented through the rich visual range of the works on show. We encourage you to support this important exhibition as it provides a valuable platform for prisoners to gain feedback on their art work, which in turn, supports their creative development. Some of the artists will be first time exhibitors. Confined IV is funded jointly under a grant from the Australian Government, and through the Office for the Arts, Department of Prime Minister and Cabinet. Exhibition runs: Thurs 8 Feb - Wed 7 Mar Opening hours: Mon 8.30am - 6pm Tues - Fri 8.30am - 5.30pm
