The Earl Arts Centre is an intimate, black box theatre, which was built through the combined effort of the Launceston community, Local, State and Commonwealth Governments. It was opened in 1993.The Earl Arts Centre is located at 10 Earl Street, Launceston. This is located directly behind the Princess Theatre.With its usual configuration of 186 seats, the Earl Arts Centre is suitable for a range of smaller productions.* Theatre Earl Arts Centre is located at 10 Earl St, Launceston (just behind the Princess Theatre.)* While we do not have a designated car park, there is plenty of street parking and a multistorey car park just around the corner in Patterson St (East.)* There are both wheelchair accessible seats and toilets on street level.* There is a soft drink vending machine in the foyer.* Tickets for most shows in the Earl Arts Centre can be pre-purchased from the Princess Theatre Box Office, or at the venue from 1 hour prior to the performance.
