From leading dance and Broadway musicals to grand opera productions the State Theatre offers the complete theatrical experience.



It seats 2,085 and has one of the largest stages in the world. Theatrical highlights include performances by Opera Australia and The Australian Ballet. Don’t forget to look up at the amazing ceiling, which is decorated with 75,000 tiny brass domes.
