There are no visitors at the Sciencentre - everyone is a participant.The Sciencentre houses permanent and changing exhibitions and also provides in-depth education experiences, innovative Science Theatre shows, and showcases objects form Queensland Museum’s science and technology collection.As an integral part of Queensland Museum South Bank the Sciencentre aims to reveal the science and technology behind our everyday lives. Part of Brisbane’s Cultural Centre precinct, the Sciencentre at Queensland Museum South Bank is within walking distance of the Queensland Art Gallery, Gallery of Modern Art, Performing Arts Centre and the State Library of Queensland. The Cultural Centre precinct sits alongside South Bank, a vibrant mix of parkland, recreational and commercial space on the Brisbane River across from the Central Business District.
