On the same week as their new album Two Worlds Collide is released The McClymonts announce their Australian Tour dates for 2012. Brooke said “We are very proud of this new album. I think it will show a new depth to our songwriting. We have all grown up a lot since our last record both personally and musically. There is always a new energy and excitement added to the live show when you take out a new album to the fans. So I am really looking forward to adding all the new songs into the set and taking what will be a completely new show around Australia”. Two Worlds Collide is the result of months of song writing sessions in Nashville during their 6 month touring schedule around the USA last year. The band wrote or co-wrote every song on the album and then worked with three master producers to bring the album to life. Sam McClymont said “working with the legendary Peter Asher in LA was an amazing experience. Peter produced three songs for us. Then we went to Nashville to record with Dierks Bentley’s producer Luke Wooten who did six tracks with us. We were lucky again to have Taylor Swift’s producer Nathan Chapman work with us on two tracks before he started working with Taylor on her next album. The whole recording process for the album went so smoothly and was so much fun and the musicians were just incredible”. The McClymonts will launch Two Worlds Collide album at a one off special event in their hometown at the Grafton Racecourse on the day of release – Friday 18th May. Mollie added “After the release of the album this week we head off for 3 months of shows around America. We will be doing festivals and fairs and performing shows with some of our favorite artists like Jason Aldean and Luke Bryant. In America we are still promoting the Wrapped Up Good album and are looking to release Two Worlds Collide early next year there. We are so pumped up about coming home and hitting the road with the new album in August”.
