This doco is a fascinating glimpse behind the scenes with icon Tony Bennett as he records his Duets II album, a multiple Grammy winner released on his 85th birthday. Tony's meticulous approach has been honed over 50 years in the business; it's clear his aspiration 'never to sing a cheap song' has not faltered. Surrounded by family - including son and manager Danny - Tony welcomes his partners into the studio and patiently shows them the ropes. Australian director Unjoo Moon and cinematographer Dion Beebe capture the magic with style and verve, as artists as diverse as Aretha Franklin, Norah Jones, Willie Nelson, John Mayer and a blue-haired Lady Gaga (singing 'The Lady Is a Tramp') step up to the mic. The most poignant moment is a duet with a nervous Amy Winehouse, resulting in a magical performance of 'Body and Soul'.
