Brisbane's Transvaal Diamond Syndicate is a band that doesn't do anything by halves. Their tours massive, their songs catchy and powerful and their filmclips hit home with the right mix of tongue-in-cheek, masculine bravado and rough edge. Their film clip for brand new single, Pistols at Dawn, for which they are on a massive tour down the East Coast of Australia right now, nails home their vibe. Rough and ready Banditos of Blues. The Pistols at Dawn tour sees them on the road for a number of months on 70 dates plus, alongside follow bluesmen, Guthrie, from Tasmania. The single is the third cut from their mini-album released in November 2011, Sins of the Blessed and is out now via Starving Kids Records and MGM Distribution. Pistols at Dawn is a throwback to Johnny Cash, of gunfighters retaining their honour and of the age-old tradition of the '10 paces and draw' gunfight.
