From Campbelltown to Haymarket and way beyond, Edge of Elsewhere is a three year project engaging with the diverse cultural mix of suburban Sydney. In its final year, Edge of Elsewhere showcases some of the most exciting contemporary artists from across Australia, Asia and the Pacific in specially commissioned works developed with Sydney communities. Presented across two venues, this large-scale exhibition places these communities within a wider Asia-Pacific context. Edge of Elsewhere is a bold commitment to artistic collaboration, community participation and the exploration of contemporary ideas.
