The Sydney based indie rock four-piece is living testament to the fact that hard work pays off - such a simple cliché, overlooked by too many young bands expecting instant superstar status. Keeping a strong focus on talent, Lovers Jump Creek inflect a healthy dose of passion into their sound that translates to a fast paced, high voltage live performance. And now with an East Coast tour on their horizon and the brand new Bless This Mess EP fresh from the print, they are ready to chase down the titans of the music world. Earlier this year the boys launched the first single of the EP, the intoxicatingly groovy Ditty. The success of the launch and the following impact of the track has seen a lot of ears prick up, and many a punter put down their beer to not only applaud, but to also bust out some moves. A highly rotatable track, Ditty was the perfect foot in the door for Lovers Jump Creek who managed to showcase their mind boggling musical talents as well as story telling abilities in a mere three minutes and seven seconds. Bless This Mess manages to perfectly capture the bands’ live energy. Clearly loving what they do, their passion, determination and focus shows in every track. Rather than just a project, Bless This Mess is an obsession for Lovers Jump Creek, choosing to use their debut EP a lot like a bulldozer - crushing everything in its way, massively effective and impossible to overlook. 2011 was the year of the gig for Lovers Jump Creek, as the band has secured an intimidating legion of fans that has proven their loyalty by not only going to their local show, but also trekking interstate to catch this band!
