One of the biggest names to emerge from Hip Hop's Golden Era was an English born, Queens New York raised lyricist named Young MC.

Young MC wrote and recorded his debut album, “Stone Cold Rhymin'" in 1989. He made a deal with his parents that if his music career did not succeed that summer, he would attend graduate school. Fortunately for him, the single “Bust A Move”, and his debut album would achieve multi-platinum status before the end of 1990. Not too bad for a single that took him 90 minutes to write!

In early 1990, Young MC won the American Music Award for "Best Rap Artist", the Billboard Music Award for the "Best New Pop Artist", and a Grammy Award for "Best Rap Performance".

Over his incredible 25 year career, Young MC has released a total of 8 studio albums, landed numerous television and film appearances, composed music for a number of high profile campaigns and written a handful of chart topping songs, including the smash hits by Tone Loc "Wild Thing" and "Funky Cold Medina", and Anastacia's "Not That Kind".

Young MC is finally bringing his old school, party style to Australia for the very first time. He's ready to show his Aussie fans how to let loose and Bust A Move!!!
