Two bright up-and-comers are teaming up to bring ‘The Politely Awkward Tour’ to life. San Cisco and The Jungle Giants are getting adroit and cordial as they join forces in their first-ever national tour. Playing capital cities* as well as a few lucky regionals including Ballarat, Byron Bay, Newcastle and Hobart, the indie-pop double bill is sure to get the kids dancing with gay abandon in a way that is anything butpolite! This liveliness and dynamic verve is portrayed on stage while delivering their indie-pop with dashes of rock and slashes of synth. “San Cisco absolutely killed their set, delivering pitch perfect twangy surf pop.” Xpress Magazine "Their youthful presence graced the stage with sheer confidence to put on an extremely welcoming opening set." Drum Media Perth The Jungle Giants are set to show off their wares on the back of their recent support for Ball Park Music along the East Coast where crowds swooned to their vibrant and energetic take on indie pop. After being Unearthed on triple j and chosen as a feature artist to launch triple j’s Unearthed digital station, The Jungle Giants rhythmic layering and catchy riffs from their debut single ‘Mr Polite’ have been heard on airwaves around the country. Fast gaining national exposure, the quartet were whispered to be one of the highlights of Big Sound, proving why front man Sam Hales picked up the 2011 Billy Thorpe scholarship for his song-writing prowess. “The Jungle Giants open proceedings by serving up a sonic selection of fun and friendly guitar pop that is summery enough to convince an Eskimo toinvest in a pair of board-shorts and a badminton set.” Rave Magazine “I seriously could not fault The Jungle Giants’ performance on stage. It is clear that in their short time together they have worked hard at perfecting their live shows.” The 59th Sound The Jungle Giants rollicking chaotic indie tunes will be perfect compliment to San Cisco’s garage pop on their debut national co-headline tour.
