Oz Comic-Con is the ultimate pop-culture and fan expo, featuring multi-genre content from across the spectrum; from film and television stars to comic book and anime artists, gaming demonstrations and cosplay competitions, to portfolio reviews and creative workshops and master classes. International guests such as the likes of Stan Lee (Spider Man, X-Men), Ryan Robbins (Sanctuary), Sean Maher (Firefly, Serenity), Jewel Staite (Firefly, Serenity) and Teryl Rothery (Stargate SG1) will be in attendance, along with international voice actors like Eric Vale (Dragon Ball Z, Fullmetal Alchemist, Initial D, One Piece), and Australian talent Nicola Scott (Teen Titans, Birds Of Prey, JSA, Secret Six) and Stewart McKenny (Super Friends, Star Wars: Clone Wars Adventures). For the first time in Australia aspiring creators will be able to submit their work for professional review, with Scott Allie (Dark Horse Comics' Senior Managing Editor) in attendance and scouting for new talent. And that's just the start of the stellar line-up and amazing activities that we will be hosting.
Oz Comic-Con will be more than just a gathering place for fans of the various arms of pop-culture. It will celebrate and educate; it's the place to come if you want to share your love of pop-culture, get up close and personal with celebrities, enter contests with fantastic prizes, or learn how to break into the industry. There will be activities and events galore, more than enough to keep you busy for a full weekend, and wanting to come back for more. Oz Comic-Con will be kicking off in Adelaide on Saturday 31st March & Sunday 1st April 2012, then moving to Melbourne for a powerhouse performance on Saturday 30th June & Sunday 1st July 2012.
