Hot on the heels of their lauded debut single In The Summer, Melbourne five piece Loon Lake are back with a brand new single I Loved You Then, taken from their acclaimed EP Not Just Friends.

Set for release on July 15 2011, I Loved You Then is a sunny garage inspired pop track that demonstrates indie music can still have soul, grit and spunk whilst retaining an inherent pop sensibility.

Armed with their sunny, garage-infused melodies and to celebrate the release of I Loved You Then, Loon Lake will be hitting the road in August on their first ever headlining tour; the Not Just Friends tour!

Loon Lake will be will be bringing their frenetic melodies and infectiously raucous riffs to The Toff in Melbourne on Saturday 13 August, Goodgod in Sydney on Thursday 18 August, CBD Hotel in Newcastle on Friday 19 August, Plus One at Edinburgh Castle in Adelaide on Saturday 3 September and will be ending their first ever headline tour with a bang as they play a Big Sound showcase gig in Brisbane.

Having completely sold out their EP launch at Ding Dong in Melbourne and being invited to support Red Riders in Melbourne and Sydney on their monumental last ever shows, Loon Lake have already earned themselves a reputation as a must-see live band.
