Having taken Australia by storm with their sold-out national tours and a string of festival appearances including Meredith Music Festival, Groovin The Moo and Splendour In The Grass, Ballarat bad boys the Yacht Club DJs unleash their Demons of Gymnastics Tour.

As part of the new generation of acts, the indestructible duo cut more songs in the first two minutes than other DJs plays in an entire show and without overexposing themselves, the act has emerged a crowd favourite, connecting with their many fans virally. Although they have never officially released an album or EP, their demo mix-tape Kleptomania was released online by popular demand and subsequently downloaded more than 15,000 times in just one week. Some copies of the mix-tape even found their way onto eBay where they sold for more than $150.

Selling out their previous national tour Batten Down The Hatches, Yacht Club DJs recently took to the stage at Splendour In The Grass. The mash up duo attracted thousands of people to their 12.30pm set, filling the Mix-Up Tent. The pair’s frantic, erratic sets set them apart, making them undoubtedly the year’s most talked-about acts. They even turned down a support slot with MGMT.

Having already been announced on Fat as Butter, Falls Festival, Southbound and Sunset Sounds and showcase shows in New York and LA, Yacht Club DJs will sail into the Capital Cities to play a series of intimate shows before heading into the studio to record their debut release.

Along for the ride is Gold Coast lo-fi punk act Bleeding Knees Club. The two-piece slam together raw punk with surfer rock and will be joining Yacht Club as they wreak havoc across the nation.

With special guests still to be announced for each show, get ready for a high-energy and erratic behaviour as they thrash out a monstrous party set.
