Finally, Melbourne’s psychobilly legends, Fireballs, premiere their new album, “Hellrider”. Fireballs have worked on this latest project since October 2009. It’s their fourth album and the first one in over 10 years. Still true to the Fireballs credo, Hellrider, is fast, loud and sure to get your heart rate up!

Not your quintessential psychobilly band, Fireballs have a myriad of influences from Australian pub rock to European psychobilly, metal and American rockabilly. Fireballs have wooed psycho fans in Asia and Europe, scorching a path from Japan's Big Rumble, to Spain's Calella Psychobilly Meeting. They have supported many international outfits including The Ramones, Ministry, The Cult, Iggy Pop, Motley Crue, Kiss and Motorhead. Not for the faint-hearted, Fireballs brand of rock n' roll is high speed and takes no hostages. As stated by Rolling Stone magazine, “…they will provide you with a religious epiphany that will overshadow anything this side of another Cramps album.” Whether you want to relive some of the highlights of Fireballs back catalog such as Voodoo, Dream Pills or So Bad it’s Good or if you want to see the new album out do the sheer awesomeness of past live shows and recordings…. Saw them in Dec and again this month at the prince of wales. First saw them at BDO 95 and they rock as hard now as they did then. They have gotta be the best live band in the country

The Fireballs toured Adelaide less than eight years ago; they played Fowler's two years ago, the same night Radio Birdman played the Gov.
I first saw these guys at BDO '94, and would see them any chance i get.
