Adding to their already impressive Australian tour schedule with local powerhouse Parkway Drive, Dayton, Ohio sextet THE DEVIL WEARS PRADA have announced two of their own headline shows this September!

Since their formation in 2005, THE DEVIL WEARS PRADA have transformed from fresh-faced hopefuls into one of the most unrelenting and respected acts in the world of heavy music today. With sales of their Rise Records debut Dear Love: A Beautiful Discord eclipsing more than 50,000, and it’s equally impressive follow-up Plagues toping the 100,000 mark, it was obvious that TDWP had fast become a band that could not be ignored.

Released on Ferret Records in 2009, the group’s third full-length, With Roots And Above Branches Below has further cemented THE DEVIL WEARS PRADA’S place atop the contemporary metal heap. Equal parts slithering aggressive riffage meshed with plush rock passages, peppered with a barrage of synth sounds and harsh to melodic vocals, the eleven-track affair was so highly regarded that the brash outfit was voted the 2009 band of the year in US music bible, Alternative Press.
