Currently residing in New York City, where he maintains a hectic touring schedule whilst also writing for the new Something For Kate album, Paul Dempsey was delighted when asked by old touring buddies Powderfinger to return home briefly to join them for a selection of shows on their last ever Australian tour and of course, jumped at the chance to share the stage one last time.

In direct response to the huge number of requests to add his own shows, Paul is delighted to announce that he will be playing two very special solo acoustic performances at The Corner in Melbourne on Friday October 8th, and The Annandale in Sydney on Sunday October 10th as well as playing the Brisbane Festival in September.

After an incredible 12 months, where his first solo album, Everything Is True debuted at # 5 on the national ARIA chart, was nominated for 3 ARIAS, achieved gold status, was named iTunes Australian Album of the Year, and saw Paul sell out all of his national tours, these two solo acoustic shows will demonstrate once again why Paul Dempsey is considered one of this country’s finest and most original songwriters.
