After 8 years, Arizona sextet Scary Kids Scaring Kids have called it a day but have plans to go out on a high by mounting their 'Final Nightmare' tour. The band played their last U.S. date on March 6th in San Diego and will now head to Australia & New Zealand during August & September to "say goodbye in person to all the friends that have ever supported us, end the band on a positive note and start new chapters in our individual lives." A self financed EP, 'After Dark', two full lengths, 'The City Sleeps in Flames' and 'Scary Kids Scaring Kids' under their belts, the band are renowned for their live show that they have unleashed on our shores a number of times now. With drummer James not taking part in the final shows, his replacement Derek Smith (Four Letter Lie) picked up the sticks, he'll do so on this tour as well, his alter ego and hip hop project Mod Sun will open the shows plugging his album 'I'll Buy Myself'. Australian friends The Mission In Motion, Stealing O'Neal, We Are The Emergency and Capulet are joining various legs of the 'Final Nightmare' tour.
