Description:

Grab the nearest boy or girl, lace up your dancing shoes and leave your inhibitions at home, as Colorado’s favourite purveyors of electro-fuelled, party- friendly pop 3OH!3 will be returning to our shores this August!

Few could have foreseen the jaw-dropping impact 3OH!3 would have on the mainstream charts in 2009, however the tongue in cheek twosome’s blend of instantly addictive hooks and powerful beats struck a worldwide chord with adoring fans and cross-armed critics alike. Debut single “Don’t Trust Me” saw the duo land a Video Music Awards nomination alongside fellow chart-toppers Lady Gaga, Kid Cudi and Drake, while the Katy Perry assisted follow-up “Starstrukk” cemented 3OH!3’s place at the upper end of the pop pecking order.

After wrapping up another stint on the Vans Warped Tour – as well as performing at Britain’s prestigious Reading and Leads Festival - 3OH!3 dropped in for an appearance on US late night TV staples Jimmy Kimmel! Live and Last Call With Carlson Daly, before heading to their sanctuary in Breckenridge to commence writing album-number two. Before things got (too) weird in the mountains, the boys packed up their gear and headed out to LA to start recording the Matt Squire and Benny Blanco helmed album that would be known as Streets of Gold. Featuring current it girl Ke$ha, lead-single “My First Kiss” has already rocketed to the top of the worldwide iTunes charts, with 3OH!3’s Nathaniel “Nat” Motte describing the song as being “like our first kiss with Ke$ha. It was the first time we met her and she definitely used tongue.”

Showcasing a wide range of tastes - from the car rattling battle raps of “I Can Do Anything” to the post-apocalyptic love ballad “Love 2012” - 3OH!3 has evolved into a super-human machine. With Nat’s surgical precision (Nat was destined to be a doctor after all) and Sean’s one-two punch lines, every song is destined to be permanently engrained in your head. “We try to make music that is fun and comes across live,” says Sean. “This album is epic,” says Nat, “it has a little piece of everything we like and do”.

Joining the tour will be young Sydney pop/rock act Tonight Alive, who in their short time together have already shared the stage with acts as diverse as Lost Prophets and Short Stack, as well as releasing their debut eight-track effort “All Shapes And Disguises”.

Don’t miss 3OH!3’s high-octane live show when it rolls through your town this August!
