Hot on the heels of their September tour announcement with the UK’s Enter Shikari, HOUSE VS HURRICANE will be heading out for a largely regional and suburban tour this August, with Sydney pop-punkers HEROES FOR HIRE coming along for the ride!

2010 has already been a big year for HOUSE VS HURRICANE, with the release of their debut full-length Perspectives further solidifying their position as one of Australia’s finest heavy bands. In support of the album’s release, HOUSE VS HURRICANE hit the road for their most extensive tour thus far, with most dates sold out. HOUSE VS HURRICANE most recently performed at Sydney’s prestigious Come Together Festival as one of the main acts alongside The Butterfly Effect, Gyroscope, Kisschasy, Frenzal Rhomb and Grinspoon. After being discovered by Triple J Unearthed and subsequently landing a slot on the Sydney leg of the 2010 Soundwave Festival (as the lone Australian act), HEROES FOR HIRE have gone from strength to strength, with their first single “Bright Lights In Paradise” becoming Triple J’s unofficial summer pop-punk anthem. Having performed at the 2010 Push Over and Come Together festivals, as well as touring nationally with Detroit’s Fireworks, HEROES FOR HIRE are set on bringing fun back to live music through their energetic stage and tongue in cheek stage show.
