Fans will be thrilled to know that Roxy Music will be performing material from their entire catalogue including such hits as Avalon, Virginia Plain, Jealous Guy, Love Is The Drug, More Than This and many more.

Roxy Music are regarded as one of the most influential art-rock bands in music history. The group, formed by vocalist/keyboardist Bryan Ferry, enjoyed a successful run through the '70s and early '80s, crafting a sound that was completely their own.

This tour will feature the classic original line up of vocalist Bryan Ferry, guitarist Phil Manzanera, saxophonist Andy Mackay and Paul Thompson on drums.

Roxy Music first exploded on to the scene with their 1972 self-titled debut album. The progressive debut was the sound of a group challenging the constraints of pop music. The band continued to record throughout the ‘70s and ‘80s. Roxy Music disbanded while still at the top of their game.

Thirty years later, Ferry, Manzanera, Mackay and Thompson re-formed the group and continue to play concerts all over the world reconfirming that the legacy had only appreciated with time. In 2010 they played their first gigs in five years before heading to Australia later this month.

roxy music was a fantastic show but the absence of mondo rock was an extreme disappointment. Some prior notice would have been nice , but to see a small flyer on the night telling us mondo was not performing was terrible.

Unfortunately, I can't say the same for the Sydney concert last night. Music was beautiful, yes, but there was no encore, no interaction with the crowd and because of the dum seats we were given (when better ones were left empty) we missed most of th... (more)
