It is with great pleasure that The Frontier Touring Company announce a series of headline performances by Richard Ashcroft, former front man of The Verve. He will be accompanied by his new band, The United Nations of Sound.
Ashcroft previously released three critically acclaimed solo albums and is currently promoting his new single from The United Nations of Sound’s upcoming release, out in July/August this year.
The first track made available from the album, titled ‘Are You Ready’, is as eager and motivational as the name suggests and was produced by NoID, best known for his work with Jay-Z’s 2009 smash hits ‘Run This Town’ and ‘D.O.A.’.

First single ‘Born Again’ will be released in July.
Already causing a stir on the music scene, the album features string arrangements by the legendary Benjamin Wright who scored the strings on Michael Jackson’s ‘Thriller’ and has worked with artists as diverse as Aretha Franklin and Outkast.

Richard Ashcroft and The United Nations of Sound will perform their own original material, as well as songs from Richard Ashcroft’s extensive Verve and solo catalogue, in this first ever visit to Australia.
