Ovation and EMI today announced that Irish singing sensation Celtic Woman, is touring Australia for the first time, bringing their Songs From The Heart tour to five cities in October and November this year.
From the shores of Ireland, Celtic Woman brings the talents of vocalists Lisa Kelly, Chloë Agnew, Lynn Hilary, Alex Sharpe and fiddler Máiréad Nesbitt each of whom bring a unique style and distinctly different contribution to the group.
Fast becoming an international phenomenon and following a sell out tour throughout the US comes the dynamic talent of five Irish women who make up the multi selling platinum group, Celtic Woman. Majestic and enchanting, the angelic voices of the five Celtic beauties tell the journey of the modern Celtic Woman with songs from the heart.
This theatrical spectacular includes the performance of a superb selection of widely loved favourites and traditional Celtic songs such as Amazing Grace, Mariah Carey & Whitney Houston’s When You Believe, Sting’s Fields of Gold, Phil Collin’s You’ll Be In My Heart, Billy Joel’s Goodnight my Angel and the Irish classics Galway Bay and My Lagan Love.
Celtic Woman is set to cast some Irish magic not only with their celestial voices and well-loved songs but also the amazing staging and costumes which make each concert a true spectacle. The quintet has sold more than 1.5 million concert tickets worldwide and ever since their first one-night show in Dublin in 2004, Celtic Woman has blown audiences away across Europe and the US, and has since performed more than 550 live shows.

The Celtic Woman tour is not to be missed and commences in Newcastle in October and moves onto Sydney, Adelaide, Melbourne and wraps up in Brisbane.
