Formed in 2007, BLKOUT has steadily gained momentum since their inception, 2010 sees them standing on their own two feet and shrugging the tag of "side project". With the addition of "the Pete's", Pete Bursky and Abordi (Last Nerve, No Apologies) on guitar and bass guitar respectively, this year proves to be the year that BLKOUT realises their full potential. With work on their sophomore album, a follow up to 2009's powerhouse "Total Depravity" already underway, the band will enter the studio with Lachlan Mitchell (Toe To Toe, The Dead Walk, No Apologies) in April to record new material for a 7" ep to be released mid 2010 and will also hit the road in early April for a batch of shows that will see them cover the eastern states of Australia.
