Jeffrey Lewis is witty, authentic, reverential, and enthusiastic. He is alarmingly self-deprecating; I bet he blushes when people praise him… Importantly, he is intelligent and informed. He is also highly entertaining. This is not the first visit to Australia by Jeffrey Lewis, either, having appeared here in solo guise during April 2009 as special guest to fellow troubadour Darren Hanlon. This time however, here for Golden Plains festivals, Jeffrey is bringing The Junkyard with him. Not a literal junkyard… but his two piece bass and drums combo: The Junkyard.
