What happens when you take the Virtuoso drummer from one of Australia’s hardest hitting bands - COG (Lucius Borich), and team him up with one of the greatest guitarists the country has ever seen (Kevin Borich)? You get an amazing musical equation - BORICH X BORICH. The duo comprised of Father and Son, this is NOT your typical family reunion, and they mean business!

The Borich name has been a part of Australian and New Zealand “Rockscape” for the last 40 + years. Kevin’s ground breaking lick-tastic performances have enabled him to catch the attention of and collaborate with some of the greatest musicians of our time including Carlos Santana, Joe Walsh (The Eagles), Richie Blackmore (Deep Purple) and Bo Didley, while also being inducted into the Australian Blues Foundation Hall of Fame. Lucius, the next-generation Borich, is no slouch himself, tearing up the drum-kit in numerous bands including COG, arguably Australia’s leading progressive rock band. Lucius is also the “percussive face “of Channel 9’s Summer of Cricket!

While the two have their own successful careers, it has long been overdue that they take time out to go into the family business. Kevin explains, “Lucius and I are excited about this tour and it’s something that we have wanted to do for a long, long time, but for reasons outside of our control it has just not been possible till now.”

This will be a show not only for COG & KB fans but for anyone of any age who just want to get their ‘sox rocked off’ with a night of incredible “funkinrockinblues” as the Borich boys like to put it. As far as live shows are concerned, Borich X Borich equals as good as it gets!
