There’s no doubt that singer, songwriter and guitarist Eugene Hideaway Bridges has made Australia his second home, having first toured here in the late 1990’s and since played literally hundreds of shows in every State and in almost every town! What makes Eugene unique, apart from his soul drenched vocals and blazing guitar work, is that he is the real deal – a Texas bluesman in the great tradition with a background in soul and gospel that gives his music such a powerful impact. Eugene returns to Australia with a brand new album “Live From San Antonio” recorded at the atmospheric Chango’s Havana Club in San Antonio Texas. and a host of great new songs. It’s typical of what you hear at one of Eugene’s live shows - a brilliant blend of classic downhome blues, Southern soul and jumping r’n’b.
