Description:

After a sell-out national tour in March, Chris Isaak is returning to Australia by popular demand for a strictly limited run of shows in September. On this tour, Isaak is keen to give something back to Australia, the country he loves so much. Through Andrew McManus Presents, he has joined with the well-respected charity organisation “Challenge – Supporting Kids With Cancer”, who will be the recipients of proceeds from a number of ticket initiatives. Tickets are on sale Tuesday July 14 from ticketmaster.com.au or 136 100.

There are very few performers quite like Chris Isaak. A raucous rocker, yet an old-fashioned American crooner. A certified sex symbol, yet one of the most sensitive songwriters of the past three decades. Lucky for us this in-demand icon of popular music has enjoyed a passionate love affair with Australia that keeps him coming back!

Join Chris Isaak as he plays music from his recent album Mr. Lucky as well as the hits we all know so well including Wicked Game, Baby Did A Bad Bad Thing, Somebody’s Crying and Blue Hotel. He will accompanied by his long time, trusty band Silvertone.

Isaak’s long-time Australian promoter Andrew McManus said: “Chris has enjoyed a tremendous relationship with Australia over the years. The response to his shows in March was overwhelming – so much so that he’s found time in his US schedule to return, albeit for just these few very special shows.”

At each show fans have the rare opportunity to purchase a VIP ticket, which includes a seat in the first three rows, a souvenir signed tour pass and the opportunity to meet the man himself in a special pre-show greeting. Proceeds from these extremely limited backstage meetings will go to Challenge and are sure to sell out quickly.

Isaak has also donated a number of guitars, which will be signed and raffled at each show, will full proceeds going to Challenge. Part proceeds from all other tickets sales will also go to the cancer organisation.

Don't miss this very special event!

Chris Isaak is also playing a free show at the Brisbane Festival

Agree with Liz. Didn't even know he was to be in
Adelaide in March. Thought his recent promotion (Sept/Oct) for his new album was for an upcoming tour! So much for the promoter's efforts!!! Kris

My husband and I went to see Chris at Mornigton. We weren't going to go as $ to much for what the venue was. We went as we got half price ticks. Venue terrible couldn't see or hear, plus had to line up for over an hour to get in and they didn't even ... (more)

i'm soooooo jealous of all who knew about and got to see him at Trak. I saw him a few years ago at the Palms at Crown where I sat on luxurious seats a few feet away from him. That was the best concert I've ever been to!

I agree with other posts, as a long time fan of Chris Isaak, saw him on Sunrise, and thought he must be on tour soon! only to find out he had already been in SA! who the hell promotes him!

I agree with the total lack of response from AMP, we emailed prior to the Mornington event with some questions re. the event and I emailed again on Monday to say how disgusted I was and, surprise, no response to either of these emails!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Chris Isaak at Mornington - what a steaming pile of crap that was! The event management was woeful, seating was shocking (it looks like they were prepared for a crowd of about 100 - anything after that you couldn't see a thing) Couldn't see the stage... (more)

I paid full price for tickets when they were released. Nothing on the tickets indicated it was limited viewing. I am short, so when Chris came on I had no hope seeing anything. A lot of people left before Chris had finished. We were able to creep for... (more)
