MY FUTURE LIES started playing shows January 2006 under the name Acid Eyeliner. With in 6 months of starting the band had a 6 track EP released at The Lair ( Metro ) in Sydney. The boys toured on the back of this ep all over Australia including NSW, QLD, VIC, SA, ACT and even a 3 show tour of Tasmania.

The 2nd year of the bands life was to take a great turn for the better, with 2 live performances on MTV's THE LAIR in June and again in October 2007. The band also added some big shows to their list with supports such as THE VERONICA's at the Hordern Sydney, and sold out show with UK sensation MCFLY. The band also played festivals such as Legs 11, Shoreshocked, AJ2007 and The Valley Fiesta in Brisbane.

The band started pre production of their debut album dec 2007 and released the single Kissing You in the Driveway to help pay for the albums recording costs. January 2008 the band hit the studio and completed their 1st album early march with a release date set for March 28th.

Ready to tour and make tracks all over the country again, My Future Lies are set to break records as an unsigned act in Australia. Selling CDs, DVDs and Tshirts all over the world and with a growing myspace following of more than 25000 people, the boys are keen to see what the future holds.
