On the eve of the release of their latest single Door, Up, Elevator, ELORA DANAN announce a home state tour to excite fans for the track and for their upcoming debut full-length In The Room Up There.
If youre wondering why its been quiet in the world of Perth alternative rock quintet Elora Danan lately, you can rest assured that all that is about to change. Last year they exploded onto the scene with their debut EP We All Have Secrets on independent label Boomtown Records, and immediately began their East Coast domination, impressing crowds as part of the Boomtown Showdown tour. In March, they furthered their reputation as a formidable live band by playing as main support to The Getaway Plan on their sold out album tour, before setting down to record their debut studio effort.
The resulting album, In The Room Up There, will not be released until February, but Elora Danan are set give fans a taste of the new material with their first single Door, Up Elevator. The track embodies everything the band is about incorporating unique guitar lines and a hectic rhythm section with a melodic dual vocal attack, creating one of the most uplifting sounds in Australian rock. Frantic yet coherent. Introspective yet relatable. Elora Danan is a thinkers music, and their album is set to reinvent what people will consider the limits of melodic rock in Australia.
Door, Up, Elevator will be available with an exclusive B-Side via itunes and as a limited edition CD single available only at shows and via online store Kill Your Stereo.
The Door Up, Elevator tour will be the first change for fans to hear new material and order the limited single, which will be available on October 11. East Coast tour dates will be announced in the coming weeks.
