With Guitar, five-string banjo, blues harp and lap-steel guitar in tow, Liz Stringer is about to set off on a national
tour to showcase her sophomore release : Pendulum. This release and tour was delayed due to Liz breaking her
arm nearly two months ago, so Liz is jumping out of her skin to get back on the road – she has energy to burn
and the where better than on stage to burn it !
Liz Stringer won’t have any trouble keeping busy as she is actually embarking on 2 tours in the coming months.
Liz has been invited to perform in Deborah Conway’s 4th series of Broad also featuring Laura Jean, Elana
Stone, Deborah Conway & Dianna Corcoran with the RocKwiz Orchestra.
Liz Stringer’s innate musicality merged with a true storytellers soul, makes for a truly powerful and unique
performance, and leaves the listener with a feeling of having uncovered an artist of significance. It is no wonder
Conway invited her.
It was 2006 when Liz first entered our musical sphere with the release of her acclaimed debut independent
album Soon. She was Mia Dyson’s hand picked choice for support. Supports with other indie dignitaries such as
Jen Cloher & the Endless Sea, Ash Grunwald, Ember Swift & Jess McAvoy have since followed as have Queenscliff Music Festival and the Coast Festival bookings.
A difficult genre to place, Liz Stringer seamlessly fuses folk, blues, and bluegrass that packs dynamite when the
mood calls for it.
Simply, Liz Stringer harnesses a sublime simplicity and depth that effortlessly draws in the listener, and leaves
