Fresh from a tour of the UK and Europe that will see them play renowned festivals Glastonbury, T in the Park, V and Wireless, Sparkadia are the special guests of Faker on a national run of dates this September.
It's been a huge year for the Sydney pop wunderkinds, with their debut album 'Postcards' hitting the ARIA album chart at an impressive #23 as well as being chosen as triple j's feature album. Sparkadia have also toured internationally with Jimmy Eat World and Vampire Weekend, and recently traversed Australia alongside The Thrills before selling out their own headline album tour.
Featuring the singles 'Too Much To Do', 'Morning Light', 'Jealousy' and 'Animals', 'Postcards' is quite possibly the most replete and accomplished debut you'll hear this year. The album offers up a dozen snapshots of life that meld bittersweet lyrics and floating melodies with a sunny spin on heartbreak, and it's no wonder that it's already being hailed by some critics as one of the year's best records:
