In support of their first digital single release, ‘Heart Heart Heart Out’ (April 12 ABC/Warner), The Seabellies will be packing their extensive collection of unusual and pretty instruments into a van and embarking on a mission to delight audiences with a handful of shows throughout May/June.

Heart Heart Heart Out is the first of a series of digital single releases in 2008 through ABC Music and has been described as ‘…a lovely and catchy pop song, which really explodes on stage’ – The Drum Media.

The Seabellies are an experimental outfit that combine elegant electronic sounds and rock layers with melodic vocals – it's the kind of sound you would expect to hear if you were stuck in your favourite, recurring musical dream….the soundtrack provided by a beautiful cacophony of guitars, viola, melodica, trumpets, sax, percussion and accordion......a beautiful place

As a live concern, The Seabellies create an experience which challenges but strangely enough also soothes all the five senses at once. Already garnering a reputation as an enthralling live band one should not miss, The Seabellies have also drawn praising comparisons to quite a number of highly talented, multi-instrumentalist, gear-swapping-mid-show acts. With ‘Heart Heart Heart Out’ these five gentlemen and a lady are ‘Edging away from their Arcade Fire-ish roots by combining a soaring orchestral approach with Killers-esque synth, courtesy of their beautiful multi-instrumentalist Steph Setz’ – The Brag.
