The Obese Records Block Party is back in 2008 and it's bigger, better and further reaching than ever before. Now in its fifth instalment, Block Party is undoubtedly the most significant hip hop event of the year, a nationwide showcase featuring the cream of the Obese Records roster. In 2007 a sold out tour took in shows in Sydney, Brisbane, Adelaide, Hobart and Melbourne. In 2008, Obese Records takes Block Party to the next level, extending its reach to include stops in Perth, Canberra and Byron Bay.

Block Party has become renowned for unforgettable sets, incredible energy and a few surprises and this year's tour will prove no exception.
