Goldfinger regrettably announce that their Australian Tour which was due to kick off in Melbourne on Friday 16 May has been postponed. After 3 long years the band were extremely excited to play for their Australian fans and are disappointed that they have to wait even longer. New dates will be issued shortly but it is expected the band will return in October. All tickets will remain valid for the re-scheduled shows in 2008.
Forming in 1994 amidst a cavalcade of circle pits and tattoos, Goldfinger were at the forefront of the exploding mid Nineties Punk scene, and on the back of their self titled debut garnered a massive worldwide fan base. They played on the road for 19 months straight and in 1996 created a world record playing 382 shows. Due to anthems like "Here in Your Bedroom", “Mable”, “This Lonely Place”, “Open Your Eyes” and an unrelenting ferocious live show, Goldfinger not only held on to their original fans but have created a new army of rabid followers.
Consistently throwing one of the most exciting, energetic live rock shows you’ll ever witness, Goldfinger are announcing their first Australian tour in over 3 years.
"No security, no fucking barricades, just do whatever you like. No bullshit!" – John Feldmann. This is the kind of show that Goldfinger thrive upon, twisted flesh, flailing limbs and a sea of swarming bodies…
