Description:
With their much anticipated sophomore album, Sharing Space due for release on April 12, Triple J, JJJTV, Aloha & The Atlas Agency are pleased to announce COG’s Sharing Space Tour for this coming May and June. Spanning some six weeks, the tour will feature two of New Zealand’s finest live rock bands, Kora and Jakob as well as local Melbourne prog-rockers Sleep Parade and Brisbane’s Melodyssey and will be COG’s biggest tour to date.
Described as an orchestra of guitar chords, beckoning drums and resonant bass tones, COG’s live shows are renowned for their implacably monstrous sound where the synchronicity between the three members is somewhat of a spectacle.
“To expect anything less than sheer brilliance, honesty and truthfulness to leave the speakers and enter your ears at a show is quite a high expectation to have, but in a balance that can only be described as eerie, Cog delivered well above any past performance and took their now influential sound to a whole new level.” Drum Media
COG’s army of fans is growing, and their upcoming album tour is none not to be missed.
With the first two singles from Sharing Space - What If and Bird of Feather, sitting on high rotation on Triple J and community stations around the country, and the success of their 2005 critically acclaimed debut album The New Normal, COG’s Sharing Space is set to be one of the most anticipated Australian releases of 2008.
