Jules and Che Devlin grew up surrounded by the exotic smells of fresh herbs and spices, bouillabase on the boil and roasting fowl, the contented sounds of eating and laughter, wine being savoured and the clinking of cutlery. These influences combined to form a shared dream for the Devlin brother. A unique space that mixes global food, exciting wine and contemporary tunes in a warm, welcoming and homely atmosphere.
After completing their apprenticeships and running the esteemed Fig Tree Restaurant, Jules and Che travelled overseas in order to to cook and consume, gaining inspiration, flavours and techniques from other cultures.
From the rolling French valleys to the heights of the Himalayas, the lakes of Russia down the length of the Mekong, the desserts of Arabia to the Northern Lights. the Devlin brothers have tasted, sipped and absorbed culinary experiences from around the globe.
This inspiration and passion, combining Italian style, Japanese simplicity, Turkish history and the unbeatable Australian climate, has helped form a unique philosophy which the brothers express simply as ""Local Produce, Global Flavours"".
Upon returning to their home town of Byron Bay, Jules and Che Devlin began to create their dream in order to share it with you.
