Legendary blues guitarist Eric Clapton will return to Australia in March for a short east coast tour.

The former member of Cream and the Yardbirds - among other groups - is regarded one of the greatest living guitarists and is a triple inductee into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame as a member of Cream, the Yardbirds, and as a solo artist.
The tour kicks off in the Hunter Valley on March 7, which will see the new Hope Estate 19,000 capacity amphitheatre launched. Clapton will then play Sydney and Melbourne.
