Australian and international musicians alike are donating tracks, new and old to raise money for the Queensland flood relief efforts.
Today, Brisbane's now-defunct Powderfinger have released a never-before-heard single 'I'm On Your Side' from which funds raised will go to the QLD Premier's Flood Relief Appeal.
The track will be available for purchase online as of January 25, via their website here.
Sony Music have announced the release of Flood Relief - Artists For The Flood Appeal, a 3 disc compilation featuring tracks from: Midnight Oil, Bruce Springsteen, Foo Fighters, P!nk, Lee Kernaghan, Grinspoon, Crowded House, The Go-Betweens, John Farnham, Tom Petty, Guy Sebastian, Tears For Fears, Katie Noonan And The Captains, Damien Leith, Bob Dylan and many more. Funds raised will go to the Salvation Army Flood Appeal.

Jimmy Barnes and his family have got together to release Floodlight a collection of songs contributed by Jimmy, son David Campbell, daughters Mahalia and EJ Barnes, brother John Swan, brother-in-law Diesel and son-in-law Ben Rodgers (The Middle Class). All funds raised are going to the Premier's Flood Relief Appeal. The album is available online now via iTunes.
Ex-Oz Idol semi-finalist, Casey Barnes (no relation) has released his new single 'Never Break You' early, with all proceeds going to the Premier's Flood Relief Appeal,.

There are a number of up and coming artists also joining the cause, among those is thirteen year old Gold Coast singer, Steffi who has released her new song 'You're Amazing' to raise funds- it is available now via iTunes.
