Confirmed: Fleetwood Mac Australian Tour 2009

After weeks of tense anticipation, Fleetwood Mac has finally released an official announcement confirming a tour this December.

Described as a "two-hour plus celebration of all the greatest hits", the line-up will consist of Stevie Nicks, Lindsey Buckingham, Mick Fleetwood and John McVie, the ensemble that has attracted rave reviews during their recent 55-city North American tour.

The set list is said to include classics such as 'Rhiannon', 'Dreams', 'The Chain', 'Tusk', 'Landslide', 'Gold Dust Woman', 'Say That You Love Me', 'Stand Back', 'Go Your Own Way', 'Don't Stop', 'Sara' and 'Never Going Back Again', among many others.

The tour kicks off in Melbourne on December 1 at Rod Laver Arena before moving to the Hunter Valley, Sydney, Perth and Brisbane.

Tickets go on sale Friday September 4. Beware: tickets will sell in a flash, so be prepared.
