The All Tomorrow's Parties festival will not return to Australian shores in 2010, despite a successful debut run earlier this year, it has emerged.
According to The Age, logistical issues will prevent the boutique music festival from returning in 2010, though organisers are aiming for a return in 2011.
Tim Pittman of Feel Presents - the Australian company responsible for bringing the festival down under - says that "the ski season has cut into our preparation time, so it seems to make more sense to give ourselves some breathing space and aim for the next event in 2011...
"We're disappointed of course - the event was magical and the response overwhelming - but we don't want to rush to meet a deadline and end up delivering a half-baked event."
The 2009 event took place at Mt Buller in Victoria, Cockatoo Island in Sydney and various venues in Brisbane, featuring Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds, The Saints and Spiritualized.
Fingers crossed for a strong return in 2011.
