Ed Kuepper will replace Mick Harvey as the guitarist for Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds, after Harvey left the group amicably last month.
Kuepper, who was a pivotal member in the recently reformed The Saints and lead songwriter for The Laughing Clowns, will join the Bad Seeds on a world tour later this year.
Before he does that, Kuepper will play two shows with The Laughing Clowns in Sydney in May, as well as an appearance at the Melbourne International Jazz festival.
