Thanks to Nibbles Music, Liveguide is giving away 5 double passes to see Death Mattel on their 'Q&A' tour, as well as copies of the new single!

Death Mattel are launching their new single, Q&A this October.
A few years ago, Matt Downey (lead singer and songwriter) visited Melbourne and asked to be taken out to see Melbourne's array of indie clubs. He was taken to all the scenester places of the time, the show-and-tell tour concluded at an indie night called “Q&A”, where Downey fell in love with the music, the dancing and the style of the punters.
After grinning and dancing like a maniac for a while he finally yelled, “OHHH I GEDDDDIT NOW!” - he was at a Gay Club. And he was so, so happy. Thus the song, Q&A was born. This tour is also special because its the first time non-Sydney audiences will get to meet the latest Mattelo, Damien.
Produced by Ian Pritchett (Angus & Julia Stone, Cog, The Beautiful Girls), Q&A will be available at all shows on the tour, and the album - “Idiosyncranicity” will be out in 2009 on Nibbles Music. Death Mattel are the first band on the Nibbles Music roster.
To be in the running to win, explain to us what you think 'Death Mattel' actually means. It could mean anything, but the funniest responses will win. We have five tickets to each of Death Mattel's Sydney, Adelaide and Melbourne shows and a CD to accompany each.
Winners for the Adelaide and Melbourne shows will be drawn ON MONDAY the 13 of October. The Sydney winner will be drawn on Monday 27 of October. |
