Australia's biggest annual festival will return in 2011, and with Die Antwoord [pictured] already hotly tipped to be on the Big Day Out line-up, it's time to speculate over other potential candidates.

Liveguide is hoping that a newly reformed Soundgarden, Kings of Leon and Stone Temple Pilots will make it to the festival. We're also fairly certain that Muse WILL NOT play next year due to their forthcoming December tour, which should come as a relief to many.

Elsewhere, James Murphy of LCD Soundsystem promised audiences during his July tour that he would return to Australia this Summer, but whether that's for the Big Day Out or not is yet to be revealed.

The line-up is expected to drop some time during September. In the meantime, who do you think will play the 2011 Big Day Out? Who would you like to see on the line-up? Let us know in the Live Wall comment section!

Eh, I won't get into the rumour mill thing but I do hope that Soundgarden and STP play. I wish hope they do sideshows though because the Big Day Out is a piece of shit festival and bands like that would be wasted there.

Slayer doing Soundwave. I would like to see Coheed and Cambria but again a band most likely to do a Soundwave if anywhere. Going to soundwave anyway for Iron Maiden and Slayer.
