Thanks to Future Entertainment, Liveguide is giving away 2 double passes to see The Chemical Brothers in Sydney and Melbourne!

There’s simply no denying the extraordinary skills of The Chemical Brothers, who are still at the very forefront of electronic musical culture, since first taking the planet by veritable storm back in the early 1990s.
Comprising the sublime talents of Tom Rowlands and Ed Simons, this prodigious UK duo have released no less than seven chart-topping albums, enjoyed numerous global hit singles, and are synonymous with the allconquering ‘Big Beat’ movement that they personally handcrafted and pioneered way back when.
To go in the running to win a 1 of 2 double passes to see The Chemical Brothers in Sydney or Melbourne, just answer the following question in less than 200 words: what were you doing in the early 1990s?
Winners will be drawn on the 1st of December.
For full details on the tour, including dates and tickets, click here. |

Providing a community radio service whilst driving around in my blue Holden Gemini with all the windows down and the Voxson speakers blasting Marky Mark and the Funky Bunch. |

I was buying fart bombs from the local milk bar, waiting until the train was about to leave the platform and throwing them in as the doors closed then my friend would be at the next station to survey the scene inside the carriage. |

Watching my friends Hardcore dance at the local country pub and promising myself that I woudl never do that. Aah Hardcore, why did that genre of music never take off?? It had so much going for it. Hardcore and I have so much in common... Hardcore is making a comeback! |

I was in high school and learing at school whilst mucking around a lot and on weekends messing around with friends and listening to music. There were bands at bars! We would hang out "down the bay" too!! |

In the early 1990s I was just starting school! No job, no responsibilities – it rocked. Didn’t have a care in the world and most certainly had no idea about music! How things change |

In 1990 I was shitting my pants and giggling hysterically as I hid underneath my cot and my parents searched frantically for me, thinking that I'd been stolen. |

Wow - I was drinking and clubbing in the North West of England while the dance scene went off! I can safely say that I never saw a Saturday or Sunday morning, because I was sleeping off the after effects of partying, for the whole of the 1990s..... |

Playing with my barbies and toy dinosaurs, attending my 1st day of Primary School, fighting with my little brother, pushing my poor rabbit on our home made tyre swing (RIP Angie xox), oh I do also remember dancing to Walk Like an Egyption by the Bangles with my dad HAHAHA!!! Loving life with no worries!! |

In the early 90's I was transitioning from Primary to Jr. High and was still in America. Probably listening to Vanilla Ice, Salt n Peppa, a bit of Nirvana and Big Daddy Kane. Oh, and Bobby Brown, which was my first CD. Riding my bike, rollerblading (before it was only for wankers) or playing touch footy in the street is how I spent most of my time. |

Early 1990s I was living in Chile. With a friend called Mattias, we would make smoke bombs made by cutting up a ping pong ball into little pieces and wrapping it with aluminium foil. We would then light them up, throw it under a car, hide, and wait till the owner would come out and see what the fuck is going on with their vehicle. One guy came out with a bucket of water and threw it on his car. We laughed and ran off. hahhahhah cheers matey |

I was FREE in my late teens, early 20s discovering who I was as a girl and a woman. I explored, I played, I worked, I partied, I travelled around the globe alone, I sang, I wrote, I loved....GOOD TIMES. |
