Is it overly negative to wonder why we need to headline the festival with an old crew like Devo instead of other great bands that are on the lineup?? I just think there are so many strong contenders here and to my mind Devo is well down the list.

the whole lineup is slightly dubious. wolfmother as secdon headliner? I've seen them heaps of times. and sigur ros, as goos as they are, are sleepy time music and hardly a headliner.

eh you gotta get an old band with a bunch of critical respect to headline - look at Pixes for V Fest. lots of the other bands are good but they don't have the staying power - Vampire Weekend could be totes uncool by the time the fest comes out. old people will never stop dressing in Devo hats

Devo rock. Pay some respect w@nk3rs.

Bands that shouldn't be here: The Living End, Ben Lee, Cold War Kids, The Vines... needless to say I'll be going to the side-shows

who cares whos "headlining" and whos "supporting" i'd rather watch van she, mstrkrft or band of horses in a smaller more intimate setting than wolfmother or, god forbid, operator please in a massive stinky mosh puddle. dont get me wrong the headliners rock hard too. go watch who u wanna watch, dont be bummed if your fave band isnt headlining because chances are you'll get a better show that way.
but i have to agree that scribe = gay. loose the seppo accent cuz your from fucken christchruch not brooklyn!

yepyep i agree what a rort, the whole thing is overrated, seen all these bands worth seeing, there's nothing big here that can't be seen elsewhere, used to be good but now splendour just dissappoints. what happened to holding it at yelgun so more people can attend.

Such an awesome event. Great atmosphere. No one dissapointed me. I loved the wombats, fratellis, Vampire weekend, Cold war kids & the Presets were insane. Even the side acts like the DJs were top notch. Will be going back next year if i get tickets
