Paul Kelly you ROCK!!!!!!!!!!!

This concert was bullshit, charge like a wounded bull, Kelly did nothing but introduce songs and collected his money easy, it was a total rip off, not one of his trademark songs. Paul kelly has definitely gone down in my estimation, picking up cheap and easy money. Never again!

I agree 110% with you Alan... my partner thought I had written your comment.. I stated the same facts as we walked out extremely let down last night... I am a huge PK fan and my only defence of him is that my partner bought the tix so I had no idea on what the theme of the night was... so I could have at least prepared myself.. I counted PK performed only 8 of 15 songs and I agree he was clipping the tix on the way through collecting a big pay day for little effort and false representation. As much as I hate to say it I wouldnt be racing back to see him purely on principle.... cheers

I agree 100%. It was the biggest con I have ever witnessed. It was the Vicka and Linda Bull show supported by Paul kelly singing none of his hits. My wife and I spoke to a few people on the way out and evryone we spoke to was disappointed and felt ripped off. Paul Kelly has definitely damaged his brand. I hope he gets to see the comments for his own good!

What a letdown!!! We travelled from Newcastle and spent $1000 on tickets, accom, etc and feel so ripped off. PK, you will have to do a 'Greatest Hits' tour to redeem yourself!!

Extremely dissapointing show! When Paul Kelly is listed as the headline act he should be the headliner of the show. Vica and Linda were screamers - not talented at all. The band was OK. Paul Kelly didn't even pick up his guitar - a total let down. When you pay to see Paul Kelly you expect him to sing.

We also went to this concert last night, where two polynesian woman sang songs we'd never heard before and occasionally a guy came out and did weird dancing, talked about his songs in a scary psuedo religious way and sang twice...before we walked out in disgust. So sad...I guess the days of the $25 ticket at the local venue where we learnt to love Paul Kelly are long gone. Husband reckoned it was the most self indulgent load of crap he has ever had the misfortune of paying for.

Thats funny I must have been a t differnt PK concert last night. two standing ovations and a sound that must have been made in heaven

Disgraceful. The worst part was watching people drift back in for the encores in the forlorn hope that he'd somehow redeem himself at the end. We could of all gone to the local church if we wanted a bible lesson. And been $165 better off.

Just shows how everyone wants the same thing all the time.... even from artists. I loved this concert, read the info so knew it was about songs with a spiritual leaning, and loved it!
